The material of this dress is thick enough to not see through, but isn't too thick that it feels heavy or anything. I ordered my normal size medium and it fit great. Wasn't too big or small anywhere. The dress is flowy which I like in a spring/summer dress. Also the length is great because I can still wear a dress and pick my little one up and down without worrying about the dress.
